Lion eyes

These two guys were pretty hungry.  As they slowly approached us on the road and eyed us up, we tried to not move and look as skinny and unappealing as possible.  Must have worked, since they continued on their way.  But when this guy looked at me, he seemed to look deep into me.

"Every morning in Africa a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning a lion wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle:
when the sun comes up, you had better be running."

On the Street ... And it was all yellow

Well, not all yellow.  In the middle of the basket was a whole cornucopia of colorful fruit.  Who needs the grocery store when you can get fresh fruit from a friendly mama?  Love how the baby's feet stick out in the front.

Kicks and Socks

Just some islanders out enjoying the magic hour before sunset.  Nice kicks and socks.

Happy Belated Earth Day

Then again, every day is earth day.

Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds. (Psalm 148:7-10)
